House of bricks recount

Kia Ora and welcome back bloggers,

last Friday we had the house of bricks come in to our school to do a butch of LEGO activities to help build up our grit some of the activities that we did were make LEGO mosaic's, we also did a competition of who could get there car to go faster and then after that we did another competition in groups of four to five so that we could then make a huge huge tower with just LEGO.

here is my house of bricks reflection writing

My favourite Lego activity was building the cars because it was a great challenge and I also really enjoyed going back and testing it over and over again after testing it a lot me and my buddy Sophie realised that the longer and heavier it was the faster it will go so at the last couple of minutes we started adding all this crazy stuff on it to make it go even faster.

My least favourite Lego activity was making the mosaics because after I finished doing one of the designs I had to take it all apart and start again and for me taking it apart took so long and was also really frustrating.

The activity that tested my perseverance the most was building the towers because if you get too high then it will just break. Our team's tower broke when it got too high and too thin and that was a little bit annoying.

The most challenging activity was the towers because it was hard trying to get the perfect structure and also be quick. Near the end my fingers were so sore.

I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because it made it so much easier to get everything done and I also think that two brains are better than one brain.

  1. Hi Jules,
Wow that sounds like so much fun! I loved how you added your favourite thing about it and your least favourite thing. Next time I think you should add a Question. Do you play With Lego at home?
